August 14th DT for Tsunami Rose

Hey Crafty peeps! I'm here to share my DT project for Tsunami Rose! I created a envelope journal of sorts, I have a video uploaded onto my youtube which you can view HERE  I used some large white envelopes to make this journal and I also made two signatures of journaling paper. This was a totally new type of journal for me and untraditional in the sence of how I put it together, I did enjoy the construction! My DIY Enamel Dots...

So finally I gave it a go... the DIY enamel dots I've seen all over.. I.found some pastel pony beads at Joannes and gave it a go! Setting my oven at 350 I lined cookie sheets with parchment paper and lined then up! I quickly realized I needed to go to 400 degrees and also realized I hadn't bought the conventional pony beads.. mine seemed shiny and better made which explains the higher price lol.. it took 15 minutes to completely get them round with the hole gone.. overall I'm pleased and I will do it again.. I plan to package them up for embellishments swaps in my FB groups and for swap extras:) I have added some pictures below!

Stuffed Accordion Pockets!

Hey Crafty Friends! Im hosting a swap over in one of my FB Groups "Handmade Embellishments and Altered Items" which you can find and join HERE  for handmade embellishments.. I put these together to hold my goodies and thought I'd share them with you! I constructed my Accordion pocket with a single 6 by 6 sheet of paper, inside I have loaded it up with tags, journal cards, handmade ephemera, mini envelopes etc... I decorated the pockets with embellishments and i am overall very happy with how they came out! I have been seeing these overstuffed envelopes on youtube the last few days and i can not wait to give that a try soon also! Tsunami Rose Design Team Project #1 Junk Journal.                                                                                                                           As some of you may know I am lucky enough to be a part of Tsunami Roses Design Team! I'm here to share a few photos of my first project with you. The two kits used in this JJ were Charming Fragments and Rose Azure as well as ephemera from various ephemera kits offered. I Used a 6x9 clasp envelope and the cover is a magnetic envelope and the envelope is in the kits. Envelope DayTrip Mini!!

Here is another project I made with two envelopes, The envelopes are long about 10 inches by 5 and i wanted to do something with them and came up with this! My Youtube video can be found here. I have attached a few pictures as well.

Coin Envelope Mini Book!

Design Team News!!!

My Very first announcement since I have been gone from blogging is that I am now on the Tsunami Rose Design Team!!!! I am SO excited to be able to design for Daisy!! She has always been my favorite and it is such an honor!! Please be looking for my first Junk Journal I did using her Rose Azure and Charming Fragments kits in the next few days!!!! I have decided to focus on my blog and try to build a reader base, it is very hard to get going but I am ready!!
